This guide issues a document from one of IVQA's built-in student templates. The student must be validated first (see Validate a student).

Step 1 — Open Student documents#

Sidebar → Education → Student documents.

Step 2 — Select the student#

Search by name or UID in the left panel and select the student. Their existing documents appear in the table below.

Step 3 — Pick a template#

Under OR pick a template, choose one of:

TemplateTypical use
School Attendance CertificateConfirms enrolment for the academic year
Certificate of CompletionConfirms that the year's modules and exams were completed
Academic TranscriptModules, grades /20, coefficients, results and overall average
Internship CertificateConfirms an internship (period, department, supervisor)
Letter of RecommendationA recommendation letter signed by the institution

IVQA prepares the document with the student's identity (name, UID, programme, level), your institution's name and signatory, the academic year and today's date. The template texts are described in Templates for student documents.

Step 4 — Adjust the content#

The editor lets you edit the text and format it (bold, italic, underline, font, size, colours, headings, lists, alignment, undo). Use Add Logo to place your institution's logo and Add Signature to add a signature image (PNG). The Verification QR of the document is already positioned in the layout.

For the transcript, the grade table is filled in the editor; until then it reads Grades will be completed by the administration.

Step 5 — Preview#

The Overview shows the page as it will be generated. Check the student's name, the programme and level, the academic year and the signatory.

Step 6 — Save#

Select Save. IVQA generates the final PDF with the QR code, publishes the document and lists it under Saved template documents with the badge VALID and its verification code (IVQA-DOC-2026-…).

From the table you can View and Download the PDF to print it or send it to the student.

What was created#

  • A new document with its own public ID, QR code and verification URL — every issuance has its own identity, even for the same student and the same template.
  • A validity period of 3 months from today, after which the public page shows EXPIRED.
  • A credential that you can revoke or restore from Status & Revocations.
