The Diplom and Certificate page (sidebar → Education) is for documents you already have as files: the diploma produced by your registrar, a certificate designed elsewhere, an attestation. IVQA adds a QR code and a public ID so they become verifiable.
Step 1 — Select the student#
Search the student list and select the student. The student must be validated: pending students show Activate their QR code (validate the student) before creating certificates, and the page warns This student has no QR code yet — please generate one first.
Step 2 — Add certificate#
In Add certificate, choose the Type: Certificate, Diploma, Attestation or Other. Enter a Title. Then provide the file: drop or browse a PDF, JPG or PNG, or import it from a URL.

Select Continue. The file is not saved yet — it will be saved as a PDF after you place the QR code.
Step 3 — Position the QR code#
The document opens in the Position QR view. Drag the QR code to the place you want on the page and adjust the QR Code size. Leave enough contrast around it so it scans well when printed.

Step 4 — Save#
Select Save certificate. IVQA writes the QR code into the file, saves it as a PDF and lists it under Uploaded certificates and diplomas with its verification code and the badge VALID. Certificates receive IVQA-CER-2026-… codes and diplomas IVQA-DIP-2026-….
Use View to open the PDF and Download to save it. Delete removes the document from the list.
Verifying#
Verifiers scan the QR code or enter the code under Certificate & Diploma on check.ivqa.org. See Public verification. Because the file was uploaded, the verification page can show a SHA-256 file fingerprint and the File integrity verified mark.
