Badges students (sidebar → Education) produces printable student badges — e-cards — carrying the student's photo, identity and personal QR code.
Select a student#
The page lists all students. Pick the student whose badge you want to generate. Upload their photo from the badge panel (you can remove or replace it later).
Customize the badge#
The Customize badge panel controls the design:
- Quick styles — ready-made colour schemes to start from.
- Front — header gradient (start and end colours, angle), front background and text colours, front title text, institution name.
- Back (verso) — body background and text, footer background and the footer QR band where the verification QR code sits, logo on the back.
- Details — accent colour, card corner radius, photo shape, info labels and values colours, position and offsets, global scale, badge size.

Save a design as a preset to reuse it for other students; presets are listed in the panel (No saved presets until you create one) and can be deleted. The current design scope tells whether you are editing a preset or a one-off design.
Generate the badge#
Select the badge PDF action to generate the front and back as a PDF ready for printing.
Verification#
The badge's QR code is the student's QR code: scanning it opens the student's verification page with their registry status. On check.ivqa.org the corresponding type is E-Card, which takes the Student UID as code. The student must therefore be validated before their badge is meaningful — see Validate a student and generate their QR code.
