IVQA documents come from three sources: built-in templates, your own files, and badge designs. This page explains which is which and where customization happens.
Built-in document templates#

Templates are filled from the person's record and your organization profile, then opened in an editor where you adjust the text, add your logo and signature, and save. The QR code is part of the layout.
Your own files#
Certificates, diplomas, attestations, institution and company documents, and any Other document are uploaded files (PDF, JPG or PNG) to which IVQA adds a QR code that you position yourself. There is no template involved: the design is yours. See Certificate and diploma uploads.
Badge designs#
Student badges and employee badges are produced by a badge designer with ready-made styles, your colours and logo, the person's photo and QR code. Designs can be saved as presets or as the company default. See Badge templates.
What you can customize#
- Everything that comes from your organization profile: institution or company name, logo, signatory name and title, signature image. See Complete your institution profile.
- The text and formatting of a template document in the editor, before saving.
- The badge design: colours, backgrounds, photo shape, fields, logo.
- The position and size of the QR code on uploaded files.
What is fixed#
- The set of built-in templates. A document that does not match a template is handled as Other with your own file.
- The validity of template student documents (3 months).
- The QR code and public ID: always generated by IVQA.
Template documents are available in English and French; the language follows the dashboard language you are using when the document is generated.
