Badges & Credentials (sidebar → Company) produces employee badges carrying the employee's photo, identity and personal QR code. The employee must be validated (see Validate an employee).

Step 1 — Select the employee#

Choose the employee from the list and upload their photo (you can remove or replace it).

Step 2 — Design the badge#

The badge editor offers:

  • ready-made badge templates to start from;
  • the theme: colours of the header, body, text and accents;
  • your logo (upload it once; it is reused);
  • a custom background image for the front and/or the back;
  • the employee fields shown on the badge (name, department, position, employee number) and the company name.

Use Save to keep the design, Reset to default to go back to the template, and Set as company default so every new badge starts from your design.

Step 3 — Export the PDF#

Select Export PDF. Generation runs in the background; the page shows the status and then the download.

Verification#

The badge's QR code is the employee's QR code: scanning it opens the employee's verification page with their name, company, department, position and registry status. On check.ivqa.org, verifiers can also type the Employee UID under Professional Badges.

If the employee is later revoked from QR Codes employees, the badge's verification page shows the revoked status — the printed badge does not need to be collected to stop being trusted.
