Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second check at sign-in: after your password, IVQA asks for a 6-digit code generated by an authenticator app on your phone (time-based one-time password, TOTP). Any standard authenticator app works.

Enable 2FA#

  1. Open the 2FA settings

    Go to Settings → Two-factor Authentication. The page shows whether 2FA is currently enabled.

  2. Scan the QR code

    IVQA displays a QR code. Scan it with your authenticator app, which adds an IVQA entry.

  3. Confirm with a code

    Type the 6-digit code shown by the app to verify the setup. 2FA is now enabled for your user.

Signing in with 2FA#

Enter your email and password as usual. On the next screen, enter the current code from your authenticator app. Codes change every 30 seconds; if a code is refused (Invalid authentication code.), wait for the next one and check that your phone's clock is set automatically.

Disable 2FA#

Go to Settings → Two-factor Authentication and choose to disable it. You will be asked to confirm.
