Every IVQA document prints its public ID (for example IVQA-DOC-2026-EXAMPLE1) next to the QR code. When scanning is not possible — a photocopy, a fax, a code read over the phone — the reference can be typed on check.ivqa.org.
Step 1 — Choose the verification type#
The Credential Verification page lists the available types. Each one accepts a specific kind of code:

Step 2 — Enter the verification code#
Type the code exactly as printed, including the prefix and the dashes, and submit. The page checks the format for the chosen type and sends you to the verification page.
What if the code is not recognized?#
- Check the type: a certificate code (
IVQA-CER-) will not be found under Document. - Check every character. The IDs use capital letters and digits only.
- If the document is still a draft in the issuer's dashboard, it has no public existence yet and the page answers Not found.
