The public verification page is the page a verifier lands on after scanning a QR code or entering a code on check.ivqa.org. It is designed for people who know nothing about IVQA: no account, no technical knowledge, one verdict.

The status banner#
The top of the page shows the verdict in large letters with a colour:
- green VALID — This credential is recognised and currently valid in IVQA's official registry.
- red REVOKED — This credential has been revoked — [reason].
- red EXPIRED — with the end date.
- amber NOT YET VALID — with the effective date.
- NOT FOUND — no published credential matches the code.

The details (valid documents)#
Below the banner, a valid document shows:

| Program / Track and Level | For students, the program and the qualification level and year recorded at issuance |
| SHA-256 file fingerprint | For uploaded files with a recorded fingerprint |
Two optional marks can appear under the banner: Signed QR: OK (the scanned link carried a correct IVQA signature) and File integrity verified.
The page header also shows the verification date and the reference that was checked.
Revoked, expired and not found#
- A revoked document shows only the revoked banner and the reason given by the organization. The holder's details are not displayed.
- An expired or not yet valid document shows the banner and the relevant date.
- A not found code shows no details at all. Draft and unpublished documents answer exactly like unknown codes.
A person's own page#
Scanning the QR code of a student or employee (rather than of a document) opens their verification page: name, UID, institution or company, program or department, and their registry status (validated, pending or revoked), with the date of the last update.
What is never shown#
Email addresses, phone numbers, national identification numbers, dates of birth and other personal fields never appear on public pages, even when they were recorded in the dashboard.
