Use this procedure when you have a student document as a file (PDF, JPG or PNG) and want to add IVQA verification to it. For certificates and diplomas use the dedicated page instead — see Upload a certificate or diploma.

Step 1 — Open Student documents and select the student#

Sidebar → Education → Student documents, then select a validated student.

Step 2 — Upload your own file#

In Add document, choose the Type — Other (custom title) — and enter the Title that will appear on the verification page, for example Enrollment confirmation 2026. Drop the file, browse for it (My Device) or import it from a Link. PDF, JPG or PNG allowed · Size limit: 25 MB. Select Continue.

Step 3 — Position the QR code#

In Position the QR code on the document, drag the code to a free area of the page and set the QR size. Aim for at least 2 cm on the printed page and avoid placing it over text or a stamp.

Step 4 — Save#

Select Save document. IVQA stamps the QR code into the file, saves it as a PDF and lists it with its verification code (IVQA-DOC-2026-…) and the badge VALID. Download the PDF to print or send it.

What the QR code does#

It links to the document's public verification page. The verdict shown there follows the credential's current status — valid now, revoked or expired later if you change it — without any change to the printed document. See QR code verification.
