This article explains how badge designs work in IVQA.

Introduction#

Badges are printable cards with a photo, the person's identity, your branding and the person's QR Code. Institutions design badges in Badges students; companies in Badges & Credentials. A design can be saved and reused.

A. Student badges#

  • Start from a Quick style

  • Change the colours of the front and the back, the title, the institution name, the photo shape and the badge size

  • Save the design as a preset to reuse it for other students

B. Employee badges#

  • Start from one of the badge templates

  • Set the theme colours, upload your logo and, if you want, a background image

  • Click Set as company default so that every new badge starts from your design

C. What the badge QR Code verifies#

  • The QR Code on a badge is the person's QR Code

  • Scanning it opens the person's verification page with their registry status

  • If the person is revoked, the page shows the revoked status, without collecting the badge
