This article explains how to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your IVQA user.

Introduction#

With 2FA, signing in requires your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. Any standard authenticator app works.

A. Enable 2FA#

  • Sign in

  • Go to Settings > Two-factor Authentication

  • Scan the QR Code with your authenticator app

  • Enter the 6-digit code shown by the app to confirm

B. Sign in with 2FA#

  • Enter your email and password as usual

  • Enter the current code from your authenticator app

Note: Codes change every 30 seconds. If a code is refused, wait for the next one and check that your phone's clock is set automatically.

C. Disable 2FA#

  • Go to Settings > Two-factor Authentication

  • Click Disable and confirm

Note: 2FA is set per user. Keep access to your authenticator app; without it you cannot sign in until an administrator or IVQA support helps you.
